We used blogger throughout creating our film, we used it as a way to share every process we ant through (blogs, editing, presentations, idea outlet and more). We used different mediums such as Vimeo, YouTube and Camtasia as a place to present our behind the scene clips (youtube) , a place to upload our prelim (Vimeo) and a place to quickly edit our videos (camtasia). GIFs and GoAnimate were a quick and simple way for us to post our pictures and also liven our blog up. JVC Pro camera was used throughout out the whole making of our film as this was what everything was recorded on and then Final Cut Pro was our primary editing software to put our film together, this was not easy to use at first, so we used google as help to find different tutorials explaining the basics of using final cut and also on how we could create a professional looking split screen. Apple Motion was used to create our Idents, this was very useful as final cut is good for editing but was not practical for us when wanting to create a distribution and production icon. Motion had a selection of templates for us to use, but we opted out of using them as a lot of people were just using the same templates, instead we created our own logos and added sounds found on motion. The main technologies i used was Blogger, to post all the other technologies onto (embed) and also Final Cut, as this is how we put our film together and also how we were able to create quick snappy video responses, VLogs and interviews.
In conclusion, I think by using different technologies on our blog for our planning and researching we were able to be creative when presenting our endless ideas and also we were able to create our own film opening!
