The Princess Diaries : Comedy, Family & Romance

The Princess Diaries is targeted for a young female audience from the age of 12 - 15 years of age, typically for girls who dream to be a princess. Mia comes from a broken home but her mother looks after her dearly. Mia is seen as a 'Geek' and is not good at public speaking, she is also unpopular and nobody notices her. But this all changes when her Queen grandmother arrives and tells her that she is a princess. After news spreads that she is a princess Mia immediately becomes popular and her crush notices her. This storyline can apply to many young girls who wish to be seen and respected even though they may  not be a princess.






Twilight: Drama, Fantasy & Romance

Twilight is a film targeted for teenagers aged 13 and up. It is about a teenage girl who risks everything when she falls in love with a vampire. There are certain actors in the film which can attract a female audience such as two males  who both try and protect 'Bella', the actors are Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. The romance in the film can appeal couples and young girls that are in love. Also it can appeal to young people that are moving into a new town and school fro the first time.







Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire: Fantasy, Adventure &  Mystery

Harry Potter and The Goblet Of fire is targeted for teenagers aged 13 and up because of fantasy violence and frightening image. This film can please both genders because it is set in a magical school. Harry Potter gains his popularity throughout the years that he has been at the school. Harry Potter lost his parents at a young age and this can relate to other teens like him. Because the film is set in a fantasy, some teens may like this and can make them feel like they are dreaming.
